It was the most beautiful, magical interior I had ever experienced. I was more interested in the designer's name than the property. Every detail was perfection and I had never before seen a house that I wanted to move into immediately. When I did purchase a home, Isabelle was the one I called. She choose materials for me that made my small home spectacular. Not only is she talented, you will not find a nicer person to work with. I worked with Isabelle Formigé on the Bungalow to Cottage project.We identified an old fashioned, tired, bungalow sitting on an acre in England. Isabelle drew up a design, employed a local builder and redesigned the space to make a lovely open plan kitchen/dining/living room with French Windows opening onto a new patio making the most of the light and charm. We gained an extra bedroom, bathroom, utility room and office. She has a wonderful eye and sourced simple but stylish units and furniture enabling us to stay to the budget.

I met Isabelle when she was updating a home which had just been purchased. I was impressed by her eye for detail and ability to make small changes which brought big results. I hired her to assist me in the design of my home which was just under construction. She was able to guide me through the process of finding the right fixtures, molding and finishing details, paint colors, and furniture placement. Isabelle was always respectful of my overall desires and keeping within my budget, in fact under my budget in many cases. She made sure that the final home was in keeping with my thoughts but also helped me to create a few details which were original and made the interior very special...still noted by many today as they open the front door! There is a wonderful international flavor to her design sense which does not limit her creativity. Impressive!

It was a pleasure to work with Isabelle Formigé. All aspects of the work were done in an absolutely professional manner. The services provided by her design firm included refinishing wall surfaces, replacing upholstery, draperies and carpets. Tables, and lamps were replaced to update the look. There was a small amount of construction to enhance a corner of the living room to create a library corner and updated bar. Marble and limestone counters were selected to compliment the newly specified fabric and color selections. In the den custom cabinetry was designed to refinish the room. The work was completed in a timely fashion with as little disruption as possible.
